Carson Anderson has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the retail industry. Carson is currently serving as the Executive Vice President at The Building Center, Inc., a building materials supplier. Prior to this, Carson held senior positions at American Tire Distributors, Sears Holdings Corporation, Suncast Corporation, Lowe's Home Improvement, Krispy Kreme, and Norwest Financial. Throughout their career, Carson has demonstrated expertise in merchandising, marketing, strategic development, and finance. Carson has successfully developed and implemented strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability in different divisions and companies.

Carson Anderson received a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance, General from Wake Forest University School of Business. Carson attended this school from 1993 to 1995. Prior to their MBA, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Before attending university, Carson graduated from Page High School, although the years of attendance are unknown.

In addition to operating five distribution centers, the company manufactures roof and floor trusses, custom millwork products, and operates multiple door shops. Founded in 1977 by Ed Norris, the family remains in control of the business, with Skip Norris serving as President. Service is a foundational value, and the company maintains the most robust fleet in the Carolinas to insure prompt and complete order delivery.
