Pete Rom

Pete Rom has extensive experience in project management across various sectors, currently serving as Project Director at The Building Intelligence Group since May 2022. Previously, Rom held the role of Head of Delivery at Science Museum Group from December 2019 to May 2022 and worked as Project Director at two different organizations between July 2019 and November 2019, as well as at Greenstone Group from November 2017 to July 2019. Other significant roles include Manager of Auckland Project Management at Beca Ltd (May 2015 - October 2017), Senior Project Manager at Beca (January 2012 - March 2015), Project Manager at M2PP Alliance (March 2013 - December 2013), and Project Development Manager at Network Rail (November 2007 - December 2011). Rom's educational background includes a BA (hons) in Media Studies from Liverpool John Moores University. Current responsibilities involve managing a capital works programme for a major New Zealand energy company and overseeing a large rail/industrial construction project.
