Katy Doar

Katy Doar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in youth development and community engagement. As Co-Founder and President of The Bunny Hive since January 2019, Katy has created a vibrant social club offering classes and events for children and their caregivers. Previously, as Executive Director of The First Tee of the Virginia Blue Ridge from August 2015 to May 2017, Katy successfully launched the organization, impacting nearly 6,000 children in its first year and raising over $190,000 through strategic partnerships and fundraisers. Katy's earlier roles include Community Affairs Manager at The Child Academy and positions at the Ounce of Prevention Fund, Action for Healthy Kids, and Community Access National Network. Educational credentials include degrees from The George Washington University, Furman University, and Suffield Academy.
