Elena Wells

Elena Wells is a skilled data engineer and GIS developer currently supporting the USDA FPAC geospatial services group at The Cadmus Group since December 2024. With extensive experience as a database developer at Axim Geospatial from November 2009 to December 2024, Elena has also held roles including Lead TA at Virginia Commonwealth University, where preparation and presentation of biological lectures were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes conducting environmental research as an intern at Environmental Stewardship Concepts, administrative support at Perrin Quarles Associates, and field biology work with various organizations including the Loon Preservation Committee and the Student Conservation Association. Elena holds a Master of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Environmental Science from William & Mary.
