Adele Aitchison

Adele Aitchison is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in creative enterprises, social impact, and strategic planning. Currently serving as Head of Creative Enterprises at The Calico Group since March 2024, Adele also co-founded GrandWorks in October 2020, which focuses on helping companies hire skilled individuals over the age of 50. Adele's commitment to social causes is reflected in roles as a Trustee at the Research Institute for Disabled Consumers and as Founder of GrandNanny, an intergenerational childcare service aimed at addressing the UK's childcare crisis. Previous positions include Senior Planner at St Luke's London, Lead Brand & Communications Strategist at OVO Energy, and Senior Strategist at WCRS, where Adele was instrumental in winning significant brand accounts and developing impactful campaigns. Adele holds an MSc in Gerontology and Ageing from King's College London, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the same institution.
