Doug Mackay

Doug Mackay has over a decade of experience in the technology industry. In 2016, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer of The Call List. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Founder of Mr. Elmer, an education software company with the goal of “Improving school culture, student character, and safety.” From 2008 to 2014, they held two roles at Johnson Controls, Program Manager of Emerging Technology and Innovation, and Senior Staff Engineer and Product Owner. From 2007 to 2008, they were Senior Software Engineer and Architect at Gridlogix, Inc., where they led the software engineering and product development team. From 2004 to 2007, they were Principal Lead of the Advanced Technologies Group at Omicron Technologies, where they led the creation of a new product line.

Doug Mackay holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology and is currently enrolled in a Masters Program in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago.
