Simon Austin

Simon Austin is a seasoned technology leader with experience spanning over two decades in various roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Head of Technology at The Camping and Caravanning Club since January 2024, Simon previously owned Sagemind Consulting, providing technology enhancement solutions to SME businesses, from April 2023 to January 2024. Before this, Simon led technology solutions for Moto Hospitality as Head of Technology Solutions from April 2008 to April 2022. Simon’s earlier roles include Deputy IT Director and Systems Architect at SSP Group Plc., where responsibilities involved consolidating IT functions for multiple businesses, and Networks and Head Office Support Manager at Granada Hospitality/Compass Roadside, overseeing network support for several brands. Simon’s extensive skill set encompasses technical strategy, infrastructure management, and team leadership.
