Ida Gruber has had a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 1995, they worked as a Management Consultant at PwC until 1998. Following that, from 1998 to 2003, they worked at IBIS/PROXICOM/DIMENSION DATA in roles related to staffing process management and technology consulting. In 2012, they joined Jewish Community High School of the Bay as an Admissions Assistant and later transitioned to the role of Admissions Associate. In 2013, they became the Director of Admissions at the same school, where they worked until 2017. Since 2017, they have been serving as the Director of Admission & Financial Aid at The Carey School.

Ida Gruber obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University. Ida pursued a comprehensive program that focused on both Management Information Systems and Financial Management. Ida attended the university from 1990 to 1995.
