Laura Baran

Laura Baran has extensive experience in educational and childcare settings, currently serving as the Auxiliary Programs Director at The Carey School since July 2022. Prior to this role, Laura worked at The Hamlin School as the Director of Extended Day Programs and Associate Director of Extended Day Programs from July 2019 to July 2022. Additional experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of the Enrichment Program at San Francisco Day School, and as Childcare Center Director at YMCA of Silicon Valley. Laura's earlier roles also encompass leadership positions at Galileo Learning, internships at UC Davis, and various camp counselor and lifeguarding positions. Laura Baran holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2014, and graduated from St. Francis High School in 2010.
