Melissa Carboni has extensive experience in education, specializing in curriculum coordination and learning services. Currently serving as Curriculum Coordinator and Learning and Curriculum Specialist at The Carey School since August 2021, Melissa has previously held roles such as Learning Resource Center Educational Coordinator at La Jolla Country Day School and Learning Services Coordinator at The Carey School. Additional experience includes positions as Director of Instruction and Student Services, Literacy Specialist at Alta Vista School, and Program Manager at Reading Partners. Melissa started the career as an Elementary School Educator at Weston Public Schools and has also worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Human Development and a Master of Education in Special Education from Boston College, along with a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of the Pacific.
