Akhil Bansal

Akhil Bansal is a Partner and the Head of Credit Strategic Solutions at The Carlyle Group. Prior to joining Carlyle, Bansal worked as a Director at KKR & Co. L.P. and as an Investment Banking M&A Associate at J.P. Morgan. Bansal also gained experience as an Investment Banking Analyst to Associate at Bear Stearns. Akhil holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Michigan. In their current role, Bansal is responsible for managing capital for Carlyle’s insurance clients and developing private markets investment solutions for institutional investors.
