Eric Peters

Eric Peters is an experienced investment professional currently working at The Carlyle Group since 2025, focusing on generalist roles within the Carlyle Credit Opportunities Fund. Prior to this, Eric spent five years at Mubadala, specializing in direct private equity investing across two sectors: consumer from 2020 to 2024 and industrials & business services from 2024 to 2025. Eric also gained valuable experience at Greenhill & Co. from 2018 to 2020 in investment banking, concentrating on restructuring, debt advisory, and special situations, and at Houlihan Lokey from 2017 to 2018, where the focus was on mergers and acquisitions in the consumer, food, and retail sectors. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Management from London Business School, a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland.
