Fernando Ventura

Fernando Ventura, CFA, currently serves in the Global Credit Treasury at The Carlyle Group since May 2023. Prior experience includes positions at the International Finance Corporation focusing on Loan Syndications for Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa from November 2020 to May 2023, and roles at IDB Invest in Financial Institutions from October 2017 to October 2020. Earlier in their career, Fernando worked as a Hedge Fund Analyst in the Alternative Investments Group at Bank of America (July 2013 - June 2015), held positions in Corporate FX Sales at J.P. Morgan (June 2011 - June 2013), and interned in Fixed Income Sales and Credit Sales at J.P. Morgan during the summers of 2009 and 2010. Academically, Fernando earned a Master of Arts from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (2015 - 2017) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago (2007 - 2011).
