Joseph Castilla

Joseph Castilla is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit investment and management. Currently serving as Managing Director of Liquid and Structured Credit at The Carlyle Group since August 2025, Castilla previously held various leadership positions at Oak Hill Advisors, L.P. from February 2021 to July 2025, including Managing Director, Principal, and Vice President. Prior experience includes Vice President roles at CIFC Asset Management and Associate in Credit Investment Research at Aberdeen. Castilla began a career in finance as an Analyst for Market and Product Research at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC. Academically, Castilla holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vassar College.
