Andrea Sozio

Andrea Sozio serves as the First Assistant Greenkeeper at The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle since May 2019, where responsibilities include managing a team of 10 and overseeing daily golfing season operations and course maintenance. Previous experience includes roles as a Greenkeeper at the University of the Highlands and Islands, and various positions in golf operations and customer service at Royal Dornoch Golf Club, PRESTONFIELD GOLF CLUB LIMITED, Sykes Assistance Services Corporation, and Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society. Andrea's extensive background in golf management is supported by a degree in Golf Management from UHI and additional training through the Club Managers Association of Europe. Career beginnings include roles in hospitality at Caffè Nero and mechanical support at Bassan Team - John Deere.
