Kurt Showmaker

Kurt Showmaker is a Systems Analyst at The Jackson Laboratory and an Instructor at The Carpentries. In addition, Kurt is an Editorial Board Member and Guest Editor at MDPI's International Journal of Translational Medicine. With a background in bioinformatics and computational biology, Kurt has held various roles at institutions like Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Kurt holds a PhD in Molecular Biology, an MS in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology, and has completed additional education in computational biology.
