Karen Schradin Ladley

Karen Schradin Ladley, Ed.D., currently serves as the Senior Associate Director at The Carter Center, overseeing initiatives related to mental health journalism and parity. With extensive experience in academia, Ladley has worked at Lehigh Carbon Community College since 2017, where responsibilities include managing tutoring services, organizational development, and strategic planning, earning recognition as Administrator of the Year in 2022. Previous roles include Director of Disability Services at DeSales University, Testing Services Coordinator at Delaware County Community College, and various leadership positions at UNC Wilmington, Brunswick Community College, and in the media sector. Ladley holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Education in Transformative Teaching and Learning from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Political Science from Elizabethtown College.
