Rama Alsaleh currently serves as the Overseas Operations Security Advisor at The Carter Center, where responsibilities include managing risk and crisis response for programs in over 20 countries, supporting a global workforce. Previously at Mercy Corps, Rama held various roles including Global Safety and Capacity Advisor, where the focus was on enhancing risk management practices and crisis response across more than 15 countries. Other notable positions included Senior Security and Access Analyst and Country Safety and Security Coordinator, where Rama’s work ensured security considerations were integrated into operational practices. Rama also contributed as a Program Officer at Jesuit Refugee Service and as Regional Account Coordinator at Panorama Architecture and Furniture Design, managing significant financial transactions and overseeing project lifecycles. Rama holds an Advanced Certificate in Security Management from The Security Institute and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Aleppo University.
