Rennie Sloan is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in health-related initiatives. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Communications at The Carter Center since September 2014, Rennie leads communication efforts for the Mental Health Program in Georgia and across the United States. Prior to this role, Rennie held the position of Director of Global Health Communications at the American Cancer Society from November 2004 to January 2014, focusing on strategic communications and advocacy for cancer and noncommunicable diseases in collaboration with various international organizations. Additional experience includes serving as the Lead Manager for International Communications at The Los Angeles Times from 2002 to 2004 and as the Director of New Media at U.S News & World Report from November 1997 to February 2000. Rennie Sloan's educational background includes studies at the Thunderbird School of Global Management and Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany.
