Kate Barker Swindell

Kate Barker Swindell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations management, campaign coordination, mediation, and social work. Currently serving as the Service + Operations Manager at PERIOD. since February 2020, Kate oversees daily operations for the non-profit organization. As a Pop-Up Store Manager at The Cashmere Sale since June 2019, Kate manages retail initiatives. Previously, from January 2015 to August 2021, Kate coordinated campaigns for Local Candidates & Bond Measures, engaging supporters in various fundraising activities. With a background in mediation, Kate has worked as a Court Appointed Mediator and facilitated conflict resolution as a self-employed strategist. Kate’s earlier experience includes roles in social work at Tufts Medical Center and non-profit consulting with GamePlan Strategies, LLC. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Vermont, and a Master of Social Work from Boston College, along with certifications in mediation and facilitation.
