Previously, Karen worked as a Cage/Poker Cashier at Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino for a brief period in 2013. Karen's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and multiple certifications from the University of Nevada, Reno, covering areas such as Casino Operations and Strategic Casino Management. Additionally, Karen completed an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice at Broward College and obtained a certification in Accounting Information from Atlantic Technical College.
