Eilis O'Donnell currently serves as the Social Impact Director at CV Life since September 2024 and is an Advisory Panel Member for The Catalyst Collective, which facilitates mentoring for Black professional women and teenage girls since November 2021. Previously, Eilis held various roles at IntoUniversity from April 2015 to September 2024, including Director of Programmes and Delivery and Assistant Director of Operations. Earlier experiences include positions such as Supply Teacher at Celsian Education and Nominations Assistant at the Ministry of Women's Affairs. Eilis began a career in education with Teach First as a teacher and Assistant Head of Sixth Form and also gained experience in account management and project implementation at Burnett Works and Halpern Cowan. Eilis holds a Master's degree in Leadership from The Institute of Education, U. of London, a PGCE in English from Canterbury Christ Church University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with Philosophy from the University of Oxford.

The Catalyst Collective provides mentoring for the next generation of Black Women. We believe that mentoring can be a powerful intervention in the lives of young women. We recruit, train, match and support young professional Black women with Black teenagers for year-long, meaningful mentoring relationships. Vision: The vision of The Catalyst Collective is to create a society in which Black women are well represented in all educational and professional settings, and Black teenagers can access a range of representative role models to inspire them and to help them develop towards achieving their goals. Objectives: The Catalyst operates with three core objectives: 1. To connect young Black women with relatable role models to act as mentors for a year of high-quality mentoring. 2. To support mentees and mentors in achieving SMART goals which will help them to progress towards future aspirations. 3. To create a rewarding and quality volunteering experience that develops the leadership skills of professional Black women and provides them with access to a wider network and other opportunities.
