Delilah Lora

Delilah Lora has a diverse and extensive work experience. Delilah started their career in 2005 as an Employment Assistant at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital before transitioning to the role of Development Associate. In 2007, they joined New York University as a Senior Development Associate. Delilah then moved to De La Salle Academy in 2009, where they held multiple positions, including Director of Alumni Fundraising and Programs, Spanish Teacher, and Dean of Students. In 2016, Delilah joined The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine as a Dean and Teacher, eventually advancing to the position of Associate Head of Upper School and, currently, Head of Upper School.

Delilah Lora has a strong education history. Delilah obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Wesleyan University between 2001 and 2005. Additionally, they pursued a Master's Degree in Childhood/Bilingual Education at Hunter College from 2011 to 2014. Delilah also holds a High School Diploma from Convent of the Sacred Heart, which they earned between 1997 and 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Junior High School Diploma at De La Salle Academy from 1994 to 1997.

In terms of certifications, Delilah has completed the Divisional Leaders Institute at NYSAIS in July 2023 and the Emerging Leaders Institute at NYSAIS in August 2021. Delilah also participated in the Interschool Leadership Institute for Educators of Color (ILI) in July 2018. There is no information available regarding their completion of the Fundraising Fundamentals certification.
