Lisa Atchison Smith

Lisa Atchison Smith has over 30 years of experience in advocacy, public policy, and government relations within the healthcare sector. From 2005 to the present, they have served as Vice President of Advocacy and Public Policy at The Catholic Health Association of the United States. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Government Relations at the same organization from 2001 to 2018. Lisa also worked as the Senior Director of Health and Welfare Policy at Catholic Charities USA from 2001 to 2004 and as the Director of Health Policy from 1995 to 2000. Lisa began their career as a Health Policy Research Associate at George Washington University's Intergovernmental Health Policy Project from 1993 to 1995 and as a Public Policy Research Assistant at the United States Senate Committee on Finance from 1991 to 1993.

Lisa Atchison Smith completed their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Health Policy Analysis from The George Washington University School of Business in 1996. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, although the start and end years for this degree are not specified.
