Jessica Lurie

Jessica Lurie is a versatile musician with extensive experience as a performer, composer, and educator. Leading the Jessica Lurie Ensemble since 1995, Lurie has showcased the group at numerous international festivals. As co-leader of the Tiptons Saxophone Quartet, Lurie contributes to an all-women ensemble that explores diverse musical styles. Lurie's teaching roles include serving as a Music Teaching Artist at The Center for Arts Education and Orchestra St. Lukes, focusing on music appreciation and composition for young students. Additionally, Lurie has collaborated with Circus Amok as a composer in residence and has worked on multimedia performances with Danijel Zezelj. Lurie's educational background includes a BA in Music from Wesleyan University, and continued studies in voice and music composition.
