Barbara Yznaga

Chief Of Staff at Center for Child Protection

Barbara Yznaga, Ph.D. has a diverse work history. Barbara started their career as a Psychological Assistant and later became a Clinical Psychologist in a private practice, where they provided brief and long-term psychotherapy and supervised psychological assistants. Barbara also completed a one-year internship in geriatric psychiatry, where they provided psychotherapy and supervised medical residents.

In 2008, Barbara joined the Austin Council of PTAs as the Vice President and Parliamentarian, where they facilitated meetings and trainings, resolved disputes, and provided assistance to over 100 PTAs.

From 2009 to 2015, Barbara worked as a Co-Owner at Super Deluxe LLC, a mobile app development company, where they led business development and conducted in-house usability testing.

Finally, in 2016, Barbara joined the Center for Child Protection as the Chief of Staff.

Barbara Yznaga holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute. Prior to that, they earned their M.A. in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute as well. Barbara completed their undergraduate studies at Yale University, where they obtained a B.A. degree in Psychology.
