Lukas Haynes is an experienced leader in philanthropy and climate advocacy, currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Protect Our Winters Action Fund and co-chair of the Policy and Advocacy Committee for Sepsis Alliance. As the founder of Leveraged Philanthropy and a Visiting Distinguished Fellow at the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society, Lukas focuses on impactful philanthropic strategies. Over the years, Lukas has held notable positions such as Trustee of Lulu's Fund, Chair of the Audit Committee at the Clara Lionel Foundation, and Advisory Board member at the Center for Climate and Security. With an academic background in International Relations from the University of Oxford and The College of William and Mary, Lukas combines expertise in climate solutions and policy development, actively participating in various philanthropic initiatives and board roles.

The Center for Climate and Security is an action-oriented think tank and convenor, with a distinguished Advisory Board of senior retired military leaders and security professionals. We facilitate policy development processes and dialogues, provide analysis, consolidate existing reports into short, digestible documents, conduct research, and act as a resource hub in the climate and security field.
