Leighton Barnes

Leighton Barnes, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Accountant at The Center for Discovery since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Auditor at CohnReznick LLP from 2020 to 2021 and as an Assurance Senior at EY from September 2016 to September 2020, where earlier experience also included serving as a Launch Intern and Assurance Client Serving Intern. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University at Buffalo School of Management (2010 - 2015) and prior attendance at DeWitt Clinton High School (2006 - 2010). Additional work experience ranges from technical roles, such as a Computer Assistant at the UB Keck Center for Computational Biophysics, to leadership positions, such as a Senior Lifeguard with the City of New York Parks & Recreation.
