Becca Shapiro is a versatile professional with a rich background in both technology and the arts. Currently serving as a Barista/Bartender at The Center for Fiction in Brooklyn, Becca previously worked as an iOS Engineer at Muze, developing a social/art editing app with SwiftUI. As a Co-Founder of Muze, collaboration with design and marketing teams led to the successful creation of a marketplace-ready operation. Academic experience at Duke University includes serving as a Quantum Computing Research Assistant, where Becca focused on quantum error-correcting codes, and gaining hands-on experience in sound engineering at Duke Coffeehouse. Additionally, Becca contributed to CollegeVine as a Blogger and Mentor, advising students on the college transition process. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Creative Writing from Duke University, complemented by an IB Diploma from Harriton High School.
