Jon Iwata is an experienced leader in ethics, technology, and innovation, currently serving as Executive Chair and Founding Executive Director of the Data & Trust Alliance since September 2020. In addition to these roles, Jon Iwata is a Tech Ethics and Policy Mentor at the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society at Stanford University and a Practice Leader, Lecturer, and Executive Fellow at the Yale Program on Stakeholder Innovation and Management. As an Advisory Board Member at Responsible Innovation Labs and a Board Member at The Center for Global Enterprise, Jon Iwata contributes to various initiatives focused on responsible business practices. As a Lecturer and Executive in Residence at Yale School of Management, Jon Iwata plays an essential role in shaping future leaders. Additionally, Jon Iwata holds positions on boards such as the LPGA, the Yale Center for Customer Insights, and Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, and previously served on the Board of Trustees at Stevenson School. Jon Iwata earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Mass Communications from San José State University from 1980 to 1984.
