Senior Advisor For Risk Management at Center for Victims of Torture

Alexandra Sevett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and organizational support, currently serving as the Senior Advisor for Risk Management at the Center for Victims of Torture since July 2018. Previous roles include positions at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities as an Evaluation Assistant, where Alexandra contributed to research projects and pilot program evaluations, and a consultant role at Global Rights for Women focused on international treaty research. Additional experiences encompass work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, a Policy Fellow at the Center for Victims of Torture, and a communications intern at the Minnesota Department of Human Rights. Alexandra's early career involved teaching roles ranging from interventionist positions at Venture Prep to serving as an AmeriCorps member at Peace First.
