Lauren K. Syrup

Lauren K. Syrup, CPA, MBA, serves as the Vice President of Finance Consulting at CESO since August 2022 and is the owner of Syrup Consulting Services, providing accounting, tax, and compliance services to small businesses since 2015. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Finance and Controller at Orono Public Schools, where financial governance involved managing a $50M annual revenue and supporting 800 employees. Earlier in career, Lauren was an Accounting Manager at Talenti Gelato, leading all accounting functions, and held senior accounting positions at MMKR, directing audit teams and managing client financials across diverse sectors. Academically, Lauren earned an MBA with a concentration in Leadership & Change Management from Hamline University and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
