Paul Coundley

Paul Coundley has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1998 as an Audit Senior at Reads & Co Chartered Accountants. Paul then moved on to various roles in finance and operations, including Finance Manager at Capco Trust Jersey Limited and Director at Close Trust Company Jersey Limited. In 2011, they became the Finance Director at Blenheim Capital Holdings, where they were responsible for financial reporting and management. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Supervision Manager at the Jersey Financial Services Commission, overseeing regulatory matters. Paul then joined TMF Channel Islands as a Risk Compliance Assurance professional before transitioning to Fiduchi - Private Wealth, Corporate & Yacht Services, where they held roles as Head of Operations & Risk and Director of Operations. Currently, they serve as the Head of Risk & Compliance for The Channel Islands Co-operative Society, where they are the key person role holder for the Jersey business.

Paul Coundley obtained a Bsc Hons degree in IBML German from Aston University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Paul also has additional certifications, including an ICA Diploma AML from the International Compliance Association (obtained in 2022), a STEP Certificate in Trust Disputes from STEP (obtained in 2011), a Certificate in IFRS from ICAEW (obtained in 2011), a TEP certification from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (obtained in 2004), and an FCA Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAEW (obtained in 2002).
