Kurt Leisure

Kurt Leisure has extensive work experience in the field of risk management and workers' compensation. Kurt currently serves as the President of the National Retail & Restaurant Defense Association since 2019. In addition, they hold the position of Vice President, Risk Services at The Cheesecake Factory since 1999. Kurt has also been involved in various organizations, including the California Coalition on Workers' Compensation (CCWC), where they were a Board Member from 2019 to 2015. Kurt has served on the Board of Directors for FIRMA since 2015 and as a Conference Advisor for the CWC Risk Conference since 2013. Kurt previously held positions as the Director of Risk Management at Prandium, Inc. from 1987 to 1999 and at Chi-Chi's Mexican Restaurants from 1993 to 1999. Additionally, they were a Chapter Delegate for RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.) from 1999 to 2015.

Kurt Leisure attended San Marino High School from 1977 to 1981. Kurt then went on to study Economics at the University of Oregon from 1981 to 1985, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree.
