Bruce Lyon Csp

Bruce Lyon CSP, P.E., SMS, ARM, CHMM, FASSP serves as the Vice President of Risk Management Services at Brown & Brown since April 2008, specializing in risk assessment, safety management systems, ergonomics, and regulatory compliance. Lyon holds leadership roles with the U.S. TAG for ISO 31000 Risk Management Standards and the ANSI/ASSP Z590.3 Prevention through Design Standard and has served as Past President of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. From January 2000, Lyon has been the Advisory Board Chair for the Occupational Risk and Safety Sciences Department at the University of Central Missouri. Lyon’s extensive experience includes significant positions at Packer Engineering, Bureau Veritas, Marsh, CNA Insurance, and Safeco Insurance. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Occupational Safety Management/Fire Science and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Industrial Safety and Graphic Arts Technology-Management from the University of Central Missouri.
