Elena Touroni

Elena Touroni is a seasoned professional in psychology and mental health, currently serving as the Clinic Director and Consultant Psychologist at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic since April 2016, which Elena co-founded. Elena served as co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at My Online Therapy from June 2018 to October 2021. Prior experience includes a significant role as the Head of Personality Disorder Service at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust from June 2009 to March 2017, overseeing multiple specialized therapy teams and managing a diverse staff. As a co-founder of Maple Psychological Services from January 2002 to March 2016, Elena contributed to private psychological therapy services. Academic experiences include lecturing at the University of Surrey and Regent's College, alongside tutoring in psychotherapeutic approaches. Elena holds a PsychD in Psychotherapeutic and Counselling Psychology from the University of Surrey and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the American College of Athens.
