Luis Osvaldo Gonzalez

Luis Osvaldo Gonzalez has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as Mexico Corporate Controller at The Chemours Company since July 2015. In this role, responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of Mexico Financial Statements, overseeing Accounting Records in compliance with local and US GAAP, managing Accounts Payable, and executing Internal Controls while submitting monthly financial data to the headquarters in the USA for Latin America legal entities. Prior to this position, Luis worked at DuPont for nearly 15 years, holding roles including Mexico Corporate Controller and LA General Ledger Manager, where duties involved managing accounting records, SOX compliance, and financial data submissions. Luis began a career in finance as a Cost Accountant at Extral S.A. de C.V. and holds a degree in Accounting from Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México, earned in 1997.
