Marcel Taal is a Senior Value Stream Leader and Transformation Lead at The Chemours Company, effective January 2022, where responsibilities include leading the Plant Transformation Plan and overseeing Continuous Improvement initiatives at the Dordrecht plant. Previous roles include Project Manager at FrieslandCampina, Group Operational Excellence Manager at Optimum Group™, Manager of Continuous Improvement, Quality and Engineering Team at Ingram Micro Commerce & Fulfillment, and Continuous Improvement Manager at Desso. Marcel has extensive experience in driving process improvements and implementing operational excellence across various organizations, including PPG Industries, Eastman Chemical Company, and The Dow Chemical Company. Marcel holds an MSc in Process Integration from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
