Jonathan Liu

Jonathan Liu is the Director of Compliance at TCG. Prior to joining TCG, Jonathan held positions with Constellation Advisers/IQ-EQ and Duff & Phelps/Kroll, where he advised private equity firms, venture capital firms, hedge funds, digital asset managers, and other alternative asset managers on regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements and best practices. Jonathan guided numerous clients through SEC examinations, conducted mock regulatory examinations, registered new firms with various regulatory bodies, and performed extensive compliance reviews and testing.

Jonathan began his career at Electronic Transaction Clearing, a broker-dealer and clearing firm, where he focused on trade reporting, privacy and GDPR practices, and digital asset AML and custody.

Jonathan graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a BA in Economics and a minor in Global Studies.
