Josh Naylor

Josh Naylor has been working in IT operations for the past eight years. Josh started their career at Northwestern University as an IT Service Delivery Manager, where they were responsible for managing and directing 18 employees across multiple functional areas, including the Tier 1 Call Center, Tier 2 Service Desk and Distributed Support Services. Josh also provided IT support for 800+ machines across the university.

In March 2017, Josh Naylor transitioned to their current role as Manager of IT Operations for the Chicago Bears. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department, as well as developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.

Some of Josh Naylor's notable accomplishments include spearheading an Endpoint Management Initiative designed to standardize systems and processes used for encryption, backup, patch management, and endpoint protection; developing a Knowledge Centered Support community of practice within Technology Support Services; and conducting a service maturity assessment of Northwestern University's ITSM tool.

Josh Naylor has a MBA from the University of Illinois Chicago with a focus in Information Systems and Entrepreneurial Studies. Josh also has a Bachelor of Science in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator from the University of Illinois Chicago. Josh is certified in The Fundamentals of Leading Change from Kotter and MOR IT Leadership from MOR Associates. Josh is also certified in ITIL Foundation Level from Pink Elephant.

Josh Naylor reports to Justin Stahl, VP, IT. Josh Naylor works with Terrance Brown - IT Support & Operations Analyst, Allen Silva - IT Support & Operations Analyst, and Brent Johnson - Network Manager.
