Elizabeth Youngling is a Data and Analytics Manager at The Chicago Community Trust since September 2022, where responsibilities include facilitating data-driven decision-making to support efforts in closing the racial and ethnic wealth gap. Prior experience includes serving as a Humanities Policy Fellow at the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, focusing on democracy reform and economic reimagining through policy research and stakeholder engagement. Elizabeth has also taught cultural anthropology courses at DePaul University and was a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Research experience includes dissertation work on the housing market recovery in Chicago for the National Science Foundation. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociocultural Anthropology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree in Culture and Politics from Georgetown University.
