Human Resources and dei Executive Wendell R. Williams

Wendell R. Williams has extensive experience in human resources and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) roles. Wendell R. Williams, is currently the Head of Talent and Administration at The Chicago Community Trust since September 2018. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director Human Resources at Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago from March 2015 to September 2018. From August 2011 to March 2015, they worked as a Regional Human Resources Generalist (Eastern) at Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. Wendell also gained experience as a Human Resources Generalist at the Illinois State Treasurer's office from July 2007 to January 2011. Wendell R. Williams, started their career as a Human Resources Assistant at Abram's Services from September 2004 to July 2007.

Wendell R. Williams, a Human Resources and DEI Executive, holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University, which they earned between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Music from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff from 1996 to 2001.

In addition to their academic achievements, Wendell has also acquired several certifications that enhance their professional qualifications. Wendell R. Williams, completed The Allstate Foundation Executive Leadership Program at Kellogg Executive Education in May 2023. Wendell R. Williams, obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in January 2015 and became a Professional in Human Resources through the HR Certification Institute in June 2014.
