Lisa Bluhm has over 25 years of experience in the learning and talent development field. Lisa is currently serving as the Head of Learning & Talent Development at The Chicago Community Trust. In this role, they are responsible for leading the organization-wide talent and leadership development strategy.
Prior to their current position, Lisa worked at the American Hospital Association as a member of the senior leadership team, overseeing educational programming and professional development initiatives for healthcare professionals.
Lisa also worked as a Principal, Learning & Organizational Development Consultant at Professional Development Advisors, where they partnered with organizations to improve performance and efficiency through talent development and organizational effectiveness solutions.
Earlier in their career, Lisa served as the Vice President of Professional Development & Licensing School Operations at Baird & Warner, where they developed and led a comprehensive learning strategy for staff and independent contractors.
Lisa's experience also includes positions at HBO, where they served as the Director of Training & Point-of-Sale Management for Starz Entertainment and as a Regional Training Manager for Home Box Office (HBO).
Throughout their career, Lisa has demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing learning programs, facilitating organizational planning, and driving talent development initiatives.
Lisa Bluhm studied Communications and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University Chicago. Lisa also pursued studies in Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In addition to their formal education, Lisa has obtained several certifications, including becoming a Certified Predictive Index (PI) Analyst in 2016, receiving a Knowledge Management Certificate in 2008, obtaining an Illinois Real Estate License from the Illinois Association of Realtors in 2002, and becoming a Certified Instructional Designer in 1994. Lisa also has a Master Trainer Certification from ASTD (now ATD), although the specific year is not available.
