Tom Nemec has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Tom started their career as a Telemarketing Supervisor at Amoco Oil Company in 1981, where they managed a telemarketing center in DeKalb, IL. Tom then worked at the Chicago Tribune as an Account Executive from 1987 to 2007. After that, they served as the Sr. Group Sales Manager at the Northwest Herald in 2007-2008. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an Account Manager at Coca-Cola Enterprises. Tom then joined TransCore in 2011 as a Quality Assurance Manager and later became a Call Center Manager at The Chicago Lighthouse for People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired in 2012.
Tom Nemec attended Lewis University from 1993 to 1997, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, they attended Northern Illinois University from 1977 to 1981, focusing on Education.
