Janice Cho has gained a range of work experience since 2021. Janice has held multiple roles at The Chicago Maroon, starting as an Associate Copy Editor in October 2021, then moving on to become a Senior Copy Editor in December 2021. Later, they took on the role of Viewpoints Illustrator in October 2021 and is currently serving as the Deputy Copy Chief since April 2023.
Janice has also been involved with the University of Chicago, where they worked as a Resident Dean Assistant from September 2022 to May 2023. Additionally, they served as a Student Researcher from January 2023 to March 2023.
In 2022, Janice worked as a US Application Mentor at Crimson Education from July 2022 to September 2023. Janice also had a brief stint as a Teaching Assistant at a Korean language school called "스트라 조디어스" in July 2021.
Furthermore, they have been associated with the University of Chicago Moot Court Team as the Vice President of Administration since February 2023. In May 2023, Janice worked as a Summer Intern at the Center for Disability & Elder Law.
Janice Cho's education history begins in 2017 when they obtained their high school diploma from Northfield Mount Hermon. In 2018, they enrolled in The School of The New York Times and studied Investigating Digital Innovations. The following year, in 2019, Janice attended The School of The New York Times again, this time focusing on Inside the UN/Journalism/Law. In 2020, they took a course at the University of Oxford edX, studying From Poverty to Prosperity: Understanding Economic Development. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at the University of Chicago, starting in 2021 and expected to graduate in 2025.
