Maya Burke-Hill currently serves as a Senior Project Manager and Family Health Advocate at the Child Abuse Prevention Center since January 2020. Prior to this role, Maya worked as a Behavioral Therapist at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC. from February 2019 to December 2019. Previous experience includes a position as a Public Health Intern in the Maternal, Child & Adolescent Health Program at Butte County in late 2018, and management at Sweet Chico Confections from June 2016 to June 2018. Maya pursued education at California State University, Chico during 2017-2018.

The Child Abuse Prevention Center's mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect. Our vision is that all children grow up safe and healthy in nurturing families and communities. The CAP Center is a national and international training, education, research and resource center dedicated to protecting children and building healthy families. We accomplish our mission by ~ Implementing evidence-based practices and programs ~ Collaborating with multi-disciplinary partners ~ Providing training and technical assistance to build capacity ~ Advocating for policies to strengthen children and families and communities Our good work is making a difference in the lives of children and families.
