Christi Mattison

Christi Mattison is an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner currently serving at Children's of Alabama since April 2024. Prior to this role, Christi worked at UAB Medicine from March 2020 to March 2024, initially as a Registered Nurse and later as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, also holding the position of RN Coordinator in Cardiology. From January 2018 to March 2020, Christi was a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Christi began the career in healthcare as a Patient Care Technician at UAB Medicine in the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic and served as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Ozark during the summers of 2015 and 2016. Educationally, Christi holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Samford University.
