Nasma Mekdad

Nasma Mekdad has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Nasma started their career at Free Land Automotive in 2015 as an Office Manager, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, they joined Children's of Alabama as a Performance Improvement Specialist and later became an Undergraduate Intern. From 2020, Nasma has been working with Children's of Alabama in different roles, including Performance Improvement Coordinator and currently as the Director of Medical Staff Services.

Nasma Mekdad completed their Bachelor's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Jefferson State Community College from 2013 to 2015 as part of the High School Accelerated Student Program. Nasma also obtained additional certifications, including BLS from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in April 2018, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers in 2018.
