Michelle Preston

Michelle Preston is an experienced Advanced Child Life Specialist currently employed at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since May 2016, providing Child Life Services primarily in the Outpatient Oncology Clinic. Responsibilities include offering developmentally appropriate support, supervising students and volunteers, and participating in various departmental committees. Previously, Michelle worked as a Certified Child Life Specialist at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, where Child Life services were expanded in the Pediatric Emergency Department. Additional experience includes roles as a Child Life Intern at Geisinger Health System, Grief Facilitator at New Hope for Kids, and various positions in educational and recreational settings. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rollins College and completed a graduate-level course in Child Life at the University of Central Florida.
