Sam Angell currently serves as the Communications and Media Relations Manager at The Children's Inn at NIH since March 2022. Previously, Sam held the position of Senior Marketing Coordinator at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from November 2019 to March 2022, and served as Associate Director of Athletics Communications at Drexel University between July 2011 and November 2019, focusing on sports information for various athletic teams. Earlier roles include Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at the University of Hartford, Interim Assistant Director of Media Relations at the University of Maryland, and Public Relations Intern for the Baltimore Ravens. Sam began a career in sports communications as a Sports Information Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania and interned at the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Sports Management from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Kinesiology from the University of Maryland.
